If You Want to Show Up Fully, You Have to Start Showing Up for Yourself
You only have to mention visibility, and the conversation goes toward marketing and social media, but there’s a step before this that is the most important and in fact it’s the key to it all if you want to show up fully in your business and your life.
True visibility starts with you and the connection you have with yourself.
You can’t communicate meaningfully, lead yourself or others well, or make the impact you’re here to make if you don't show up for yourself.
Visibility is a leadership skill that starts with being visible to yourself first.
What does it mean to show up for yourself?
I believe showing up for yourself means:
You choose to prioritise yourself and look after your whole self.
You honour your authentic self.
You’re connected to your values, and to what matters most to you.
You choose to prioritise healing and growth.
You’re connected and aligned with your natural energy.
You create supportive boundaries that take care of you.
You’re present in the moment.
Showing up fully isn’t about being louder, performing more, doing more or constantly proving yourself. It's about being connected and aligned with your true self. Coming back home to yourself and leading from there.
When you show up for yourself, you can:
Show up fully for others.
Show up with more confidence and clarity because you’re connected to your authentic self and creating your version of success.
Communicate meaningfully in a way that feels natural to you and that resonates with others.
Build and nurture deeper, long-lasting relationships.
Make decisions from connection and alignment rather than pressure.
Lead yourself and others well.
Make the impact you're here to make.
Create sustainable success on your terms.
